Dear Al, Colt and Heather,
I'm not going to be any good here at full sentences so here is my attempt at a poem.
So you married the Sun.
She married a Star.
And from your celestial souls an entire universe was born.
Bringing with him
galaxies of love.
A welkin of hope.
A child bursting with stardust
and moon dreams.
Lassoing the magic hour light amidst the fight
of unfair days.
But blazing hearts do raise
Time's finest enchanters,
and an epic trilogy
was formed
out of lightning wonder.
The Sun, The Star and The Moon.
Forging a constellation
a cosmic kin creation.
Floating limitless in love
and powder days,
May you always find your way
To where everything gold can stay.
I've attached a photo that proves Al, you have always been the coolest guy in the room. Thanks for always bringing some serious swagger to our theatre geek gatherings - also for putting up with Heather and myself creating crazy characters and plays at your place many times over the years. I fondly appreciate your endless quick (and cheeky) wit. Probably a bit more than you passing wind, walking away and blaming it on those around you...but maybe I kind of appreciate that too. In general, I just appreciate you and the great love and support you have given to our beloved shining star Heather over the years. It's also no secret that you are a wonderful Dad, a total Whistler Legend and wonderful blessing to all who love you.
All the love to you Al; all the things.
Angie xo
