You may not remember me, but I feel like I know you and all of the other Paul family members so well just by how much Ali talks about you. I often ask Ali about Colt and his ski adventures, and will joke around that I contributed to how good of a skier he has become...you know, because he was in my level 5 Whistler Kids club class for half a day before I had to move him up to a level 6 group. I have such a vivid memory from that first morning in January of 2017 of you dropping him off as a little 6 or 7 year old junior. You went on to tell me how he ripped down Spankys with you the week before and that he would probably be popping off to the sides of the runs and into the forest to get all the side hits he could. At that moment, two thoughts went through my head: a) Colt was for sure not going to be in my class for long because he was definitely going to out ski all of the other kids (and lets be honest, probably me too) b) What a lucky kid to have a dad who takes him down Spankys at 6?! Legendary dad status conferred right then and there.

Reading all of these memories that people have posted so far only sheds light on what an all around legend you are not only for Colt, but for everyone in your life. Thanks for sharing a sliver of that with me all those years ago.
