Hey Al,

There has been so much that others have said that have been so true of a person like you.

You are a gift to everyone who has ever met you and continue to strike an incredible chord to those that are blessed to meet you!

I'd like to offer you these memories of our Wildwood trip in 1983 with Mr. and Mrs. Souter and our Grade 9 Geography class. I think our trip to Jasper during that time was what drew you out there years later!

I kept all of the Wildwood trip momentos and really do hope they conjour up all of the great memories that we had during that trip...no running water for some us caused some eyebrows to be raised and wondered what the heck did we get ourselves into, but we made it through and enjoyed every minute of our adventures there in Wildwood and back here in Almonte.

I even kept the article of us heading off to your grandpa's place and being shown by the master orator himself on how things were done back in in the day in Lanark county :)

btw I think we had the same haircut by Wayne in Almonte - think he used the same bowl for all of us..
