Al, Heather and Colt. What an incredible little life you have created together. Al, I don't think in all the years we were neighbors we ever sat and shared a beer on the stoop. But we often crossed paths dodging traffic to get that one last ingredient at Nesters or as we zipped around the complex setting off on our daily adventures. What I remember most about those moments, was how as a father and husband your pride for your family was so visible. You always beamed when asked about Colt and Heather. Even the stinky garbage room was no match against the opportunity to share a story that highlighted the love and excitement you have for them both. I am grateful I got to know how incredibly special all three of you are through those seemingly mundane moments. You guys rock! We are sending so much love your way today and everyday. Big hugs Jessica & Kirk

On Thursday June 10th, 2021, in the twelfth round of a ten year match, just before the ding of the bell, Al Paul packed up his big heart, stubborn soul, radiant smile, crossed the ropes, and walked away from his battle with brain cancer.
Al left the world the way he lived in it, on his own terms and with his wife and son by his side. “Armed with will, and determination and grace too.”
He is neck deep in powder now, or shooting the round of his life with any angel lucky enough to join him.
Al wanted everyone to know that life is beautiful, worth every adventure you
say yes to, and a perfect day can be as large as a long walk up a mountain or as simple as a movie day on the couch with the people you love. Also (and he really can’t stress this enough): He was the best skier on the mountain.
